I originally hail from Kansas and my first jobs were ranching and farming. I soon decided that writing and drawing were a whole lot less exhausting than ranching and farming. Eventually I moved to California in 1984, to get a Masters of Fine Art from the San Francisco Art Institute.
I’ve taught at two San Francisco colleges. I’ve been Art Director of a 5,000 square foot cultural center and, earlier, art directed the biggest Boys and Girl’s Club west of the Mississippi.
I moved to Southern California in 2006-2008, and love life in the “Hi-Dez!”
